Where, Oh Where...

Where, Oh where have I been???
(Besides on my couch in sweatpants cuddling a kitty)................................CHICAGO.

& it was even more fun than I expected.  Which was alot of fun considering I was in San Antonio the week before.  That's some pretty high standards to live up to. 

I had a pretty decent travel buddy. 

It was his birthday so he thought he was special & could do special things like order room service.  $55.00 room service.  Good thing I love him or I would have been really upset that I could have bought a shirt or some earrings with that hard earned money.

That's ok though, because I made him do really dorky tourist-y things....like visit THE BEAN.

If you tell me this isn't cool then I dont think we can be friends anymore.

I mean -- check out that skyline! We were freezing our faces off so we didn't hang out too long.  Just long enough to spot a Nordstrom's & spend too much money.  & maybe visit Sprinkles, which is the best cupcake shop in Chicago according to Oprah.  She's basically the queen of Chicago so I'll take her word for it. 

Because it was bf's birthday (& because I secretly think hockey players are sexxxxxxxxy), we went to a Blackhawks game.  This is how bf gets pumped for the game.

....by getting ridiculously decked out in Blackhawks gear & making bf smile in pictures with me.  You can tell he gets a little sick of it, but I make him anyway.

I didn't make him pose for any pictures while we were there, so that was rather non-like-me & nice & not-embarassing-you-because-its-your-birthday-ish.  I'm probably the best gf ever.

That about wraps up our trip.  Besides the full body massages.  Which I wont show you because that'd be a little overshare..... & you dont want to see me naked. 

Oh & maybe the shopping.  I came home with some niiiiiiiiiiiice things.  But if anyone wants to buy me this necklace I wouldn't mind.  In fact, I'd probably hug you forever & become your bff.
